Nut Crescents

Delicate rolls richly filled with nut filling are easy to prepare. They are ideal as an afternoon snack.
Ingredients (what you need)
Dough
300 g all-purpose flour
250 g shortening
1 pinch of salt
11 tablespoons cold water
Nut filling
1/2 l milk
150 g sugar
ladyfingers
500 g ground nuts
rum
Recipe steps
We mix the ingredients for the dough and roll it out into a sheet. Then we cut it into strips and fill these strips nicely side by side with the filling.
We roll them into small rolls and use a spoon to press the edges of the rolls and also the place where we will cut the pastries.
After cutting the closed pockets, we bend them into the shape of a cone. We brush them with a beaten egg yolk and bake them in a preheated oven until golden.
They are sufficiently greasy, so we do not need to grease the baking tray on which we will bake.
