Braised pork cubes with cream and peas

Cut the pork into small pieces. Season with salt, freshly ground pepper, and crushed caraway seeds. Heat a tablespoon of lard in a pot and add the meat.
Ingredients (what you need)
1 kg of pork (leg or shoulder)
1/2 kg of fresh peas
2 onions
1/2 bunch of chives
2 dcl of sweet cream
plain flour
1/2 liter of bone broth
lard
butter
salt
pepper
Recipe steps
Cut the pork into small pieces.
Add salt, freshly ground pepper, and crushed cumin.
In a pan, heat a tablespoon of lard and add finely chopped onion. Then add the meat and quickly sauté it to retain its juiciness.
After browning the meat, pour in enough broth to cover it about three-quarters of the way and simmer with a lid until tender.
Add cream and fresh shelled peas to the mixture, then let it simmer gently for another 10 minutes.
Remove a portion of the sauce and blend fresh chives in a suitable container using an immersion blender to create a lightly green sauce.
Then return it to the pot and stir.
After simmering, gently stir in two knobs of butter, and if necessary and to taste, you can thicken the dish or just season it with salt and pepper. Serve with rice or with roasted potato slices, which we garnish with pieces of cooked carrots, shallots, chopped rosemary, and a few fresh pea balls. Briefly roast everything before serving to make the side dish more colorful.
