Ingredients (what you need)
450 g pork meat
150 g sweet and sour pickles
1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
ground (or crushed) cumin
1 teaspoon sweet paprika (optional)
salt
ground pepper
1 onion
oil (or lard)
broth (or water)
For the roux
a little lard
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Recipe steps
Wash the meat and cut it into cubes.
Finely chop the peeled onion and sauté it in fat. Then add caraway seeds and meat, and continue to fry.
Slightly salt, add paprika, pour in broth or water, stir in mustard, and cook in a pressure cooker for 15-20 minutes until tender.
After cooking, stir in chopped or coarsely grated pickles and simmer for a while.
In heated lard, fry the flour, stirring constantly. Then add this mixture to the pot and cook for about 15-20 minutes.
Serve with dumplings, rice, or pasta.
