Ingredients (what you need)

For the brine
2 l water
0.5 l vinegar
1 packet of pickling preparation DEKO
150 g sugar
25 tablets of saccharin (artificial sweetener)

In the jar
cucumbers
carrots
onions
horseradish
dill

Recipe steps

We will place all the ingredients for the brine in a pot and briefly bring them to a boil for about 2-3 minutes. Then we let the brine cool.

In a clean jar, we add 1-2 slices of carrot, 1-2 slices of horseradish, 1-2 slices of peeled onion, and a piece of dill or a sprig of dill, and then we layer the washed cucumbers on top.

We fill the jar with the cooled brine. When pouring, we always gently stir to evenly distribute the spices, and we try to ensure that each jar has a bit of spice.

We wipe the edges of the jars, cover them with lids, and place them in a pot of water. The water should be about 3 cm below the edges of the jars.

We process for 20 minutes at a temperature of 80 °C. Then we immediately remove from the canning pot. Once cooled, we store them.
