Pork neck with onion sauce

In oil, sauté the sliced red onion into thin strips, season with salt and pepper, and add cloves and juniper. Then add wine and orange juice.
Ingredients (what you need)
4 slices of neck meat
salt
pepper
steak seasoning (whatever we like for quick meat)
For the sauce
500 g red onion (can also use white)
300 ml red wine
juice of 1 orange
1 tbsp honey
500 ml broth cube or strong stock
2 cloves
2 junipers
salt
pepper
oil
Recipe steps
In oil, sauté the sliced red onion, season it with salt and pepper, and add cloves and juniper berries.
Pour in the wine and orange juice, add a tablespoon of honey, and let it simmer for a while to reduce.
Then add the broth and cook on low heat for at least an hour, during which we let the sauce bubble gently to thicken.
Adjust the seasoning as needed.
Gently pound the meat, season it with salt and pepper, and sauté it in a pan.
I served it with potato dumplings, but any potato variant will surely be great as well.
