Cheese Meatballs are a popular dish that beautifully combines juicy ground meat with the delicate flavor of cheese. When preparing them, ground meat, usually beef or pork, is mixed with spices and herbs. Then, a piece of cheese, such as Edam or cheddar, is placed in the center of each meatball. The meatballs are then fried in a pan until golden brown. They are ideal as a main course, served with mashed potatoes, rice, or fresh bread. The cheesy filling creates a deliciously melted center that enhances every bite.
