Ingredients (what you need)
1 kg potatoes
2 eggs
4 tbsp all-purpose wheat flour
4 cloves crushed garlic
salt
freshly ground pepper
3 handfuls dried marjoram
lard or oil for frying
Recipe steps
First, peel, dry, and grate the potatoes. In a large bowl, let them drain or squeeze the water out of them.
In the same bowl, mix the potatoes with the egg, flour, garlic, salt, pepper, and crushed marjoram. Knead into a dough.
In a pan over medium heat, melt enough lard so that the potato pancakes can float halfway in it.
Fry the potato pancakes on both sides. Make the first potato pancake as a test. The pancakes taste great both warm and cold.
