Lavender honey (syrup)
We rinse the branches and place them in a pot with water, then we add thoroughly washed and chopped lemons along with cinnamon. We bring to a boil and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Ingredients (what you need)
500 g lavender (full-bloom herbs)
3 lemons
3 whole cinnamon sticks
1.5-2 kg sugar
750-1000 ml water
Recipe steps
We rinse the branches and place them in a pot of water. We add thoroughly washed and chopped lemons and cinnamon. We bring to a boil and simmer for about 15 minutes.
We remove from the heat and let it steep for 24 hours. The next day, we strain the infusion, bring it back to a boil, and gradually add sugar while stirring until we reach the desired thickness. We pour the hot lavender syrup, or optionally honey, into jars, seal with lids, and do not further process.
