Kulajda

Kulajda is a thick soup that can also be served as a main dish, for example for dinner. Every family has its own way of preparing it and a universal recipe.
Ingredients (what you need)
4 potatoes
3 tablespoons dried mushrooms
5 cups water
200 ml sour cream
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
salt
caraway seeds
dill (to taste)
Recipe steps
Soak the dried mushrooms in warm water for 2 hours.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces, add 4 cups of water, stir in the drained mushrooms, season with salt, add caraway seeds, and cook for a while.
Mix the sour cream with four tablespoons of plain flour and one cup of cold water.
After about fifteen minutes, remove the soup from heat, strain it, and stir in the thickened cream thoroughly.
Heat it to boiling and then cook for about 20 minutes. Before finishing the cooking, you can add chopped dill and then do not boil anymore.
