Ingredients (what you need)
1 tbsp oil
120 g chicken breast
1/4 onion
1 medium carrot
1 celery stalk
60 g whole grain couscous
salt
freshly ground pepper
vegetable seasoning Gemusebruhe from DM
1 tbsp chopped chives
Recipe steps
In a pan, heat the oil and sauté thinly sliced meat over high heat. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
Chop the onion finely, slice the carrot into rounds, and cut the celery into slices along the fibers. Then, add the onion to the meat in the pan and briefly sauté together.
Add the other vegetables, pour in a small amount of water, and simmer together for approximately 15 minutes.
Put the couscous in a cup, salt it, add spices, and stir. Then, pour in twice the amount of hot water and let it swell.
Mix the steamed meat with the couscous, season to taste, and serve sprinkled with chopped chives.
