Ingredients (what you need)

1 kg chicken
1 pc onion
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
1 tablespoon hot paprika
2 tablespoons cream
4 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 dl water

Recipe steps

We clean the chicken, rinse it, and cook it until tender. We salt it to taste. We remove the tender chicken and shred it. We strain the broth and set it aside.

We peel and finely chop the onion. In a pot, we heat oil and sauté the onion until golden. We add sweet and hot paprika, sauté it lightly, and pour in the prepared broth, letting it simmer for a while. We mix water with all-purpose flour and add it to the sauce. Finally, we add the pieces of meat, let it simmer, and thicken it with cream.

We serve chicken paprikash with bread dumplings.
