Beef and mushroom goulash soup

Fry the ground beef together with the chopped onion in lard until the juice from the meat evaporates and only fat remains, which we then sprinkle with plain flour.
Ingredients (what you need)
250 g ground beef
1 larger onion, finely chopped
4 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons lard (or to taste)
4 potatoes
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1.5 liters beef broth
1.5 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon crushed caraway seeds
1 teaspoon marjoram
salt
pepper
a handful of dried mushrooms (optional)
Recipe steps
In a pan, sauté the ground beef with chopped onion in lard until the juice from the meat evaporates and only fat remains. Then add all-purpose flour, briefly sauté, and deglaze with broth, which we will then let boil.
Into the soup, we add salt, pepper, crushed garlic, both red bell peppers, and crushed caraway seeds. Next, we add washed potatoes cut into small cubes and let them boil.
We watch as the potatoes cook until they soften.
At the end of cooking, we can add chopped mushrooms that we soaked earlier, but it's not necessary.
Finally, we stir in the ground marjoram and adjust the seasoning to taste.
The soup can also be served in a hollowed-out bread or plated.
