1 packet of potato dough powder (dry semi-finished product)
1 young zucchini (approximately 400 g)
2 whole eggs
salt
coarse flour as needed
melted lard
Recipe steps
Grate the zucchini, with the skin, on a small grater, add the egg, salt, and mix well.
Add the packaged potato dough to the mixture, mix thoroughly, and add more flour if necessary. The dough should be firm enough to shape the dumplings with a spoon.
Drop dumplings the size of a ping pong ball to a golf ball, according to your preference, into boiling salted water. Once they float to the surface, cook them for another 7 minutes.
Take a slotted spoon and grease it with melted lard.
Serve as a side dish with sauce, with cabbage, or on their own with baked bacon and fried onion, or with a vegetable salad.
