Ingredients (what you need)
3 kg of tomatoes
1.3 kg of granulated sugar
2 vanilla sugars
3 packets of Pektogel
2 teaspoons of citric acid
150 ml of rum
Recipe steps
We cut the tomatoes into quarters and cook them for about an hour. Then we pass them through a sieve, add sugar and two packets of vanilla sugar, and simmer for another hour.
Before the end of cooking, we add Pektogel, citric acid, and rum.
We wash the jars with hot water, fill them, wipe the edges, and after sealing with clean lids, we turn them upside down to cool. We do not perform canning.
