Ingredients (what you need)
Dough
150 ml milk
100 g Hery
2 eggs
180 g granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa
350 g all-purpose flour
1 baking powder
400 g fresh apricots
Topping
100 g cooking chocolate
100 ml cream
60 g chopped nuts
Recipe steps
Cut the fat into small pieces and slowly melt it in the milk on the stove. Let the mixture cool and in the meantime, sift the flour with the baking powder and remove the pits from the apricots.
Once the mixture has cooled, mix in the eggs, sugar, and cocoa and whisk thoroughly. Then, add the cream to the flour in a bowl and mix well.
Grease a cake pan or a smaller baking tray with oil or butter and sprinkle with flour. Spread the batter evenly and densely place the halved apricots on top (I baked in a cake pan and arranged the apricots with the cut sides facing each other). Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 40 minutes.
In a small pot, combine the cream and broken chocolate and slowly melt it in a water bath. Once the cake has cooled, brush it with the glaze and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
