Ingredients (what you need)
300 g all-purpose wheat flour
300 g butter
300 g sugar
5 pcs eggs
1 tsp baking powder
salt
Recipe steps
Break the eggs, separate the yolks and whites, and place them in separate bowls. In another bowl, cream the softened butter with a spoon, add the sugar, and cream again thoroughly.
This will make the batter porous and tender. (For a fluffier batter, you can cream the sugar first with the yolks and then add the butter). Gradually add the egg yolks one by one to the bowl with the butter and sugar, and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture forms. Whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the base of the batter, while simultaneously adding the flour mixed with baking powder. If the batter is too thick, add a few tablespoons of lukewarm milk.
