150 g semi-coarse flour

Recipe steps
We mix the potatoes with eggs and salt and then add enough flour to create a thick dough.
We push the dough through a sieve for dumplings into a pot of boiling salted water. Once the spätzle floats to the surface, we boil them for about one minute (we cook in at least two batches).
Then we place them in cold water and strain them once cooled.
Before serving, we heat them in a steamer.
Spätzle goes great with stewed meats, sauces, goulashes, or you can simply serve them with some dressing.
