An interesting addition to the menu is a delicate kohlrabi sauce.

Ingredients (what you need)

flour - plain
1 teaspoon vinegar
salt
sugar - granulated
2 pcs young kohlrabi
1 teaspoon sauce - Worcestershire
1 pcs sour cream 12%

Recipe steps

Add a suitable side dish, for example (potatoes, pasta, dumplings) and a boiled egg (hard-boiled, sunny side up) and lunch or dinner is on the table.

Carefully peel the young kohlrabi.

Grate it coarsely on a grater and transfer it to a pot.

Add a pinch of salt. Lightly cover with water.

Cook. Taste and check the firmness of the kohlrabi.

In a bowl, pour in the plain flour and whisk it with a little cream.

Pour it into the pot and cook for a while. Add cream and Worcestershire sauce.

Sweeten and salt it. Slightly acidify with vinegar and the sauce is ready.
