Cleaned and washed potatoes are boiled in their skins until soft and then peeled. Peel the onion and garlic and chop them finely.

Ingredients (what you need)

1 kg new potatoes
1 piece small onion
1 piece green part of leek
200 ml cream
2 cloves garlic
as needed 80 g butter
salt

Recipe steps

Cut the green part of the leek into thin rounds.

In a pot, melt the butter and sauté the onion until pink. Then add the leek, garlic, potatoes, and salt. Pour in the cream, let it heat up, and mash it.

Mashed potatoes are great as a side dish for any meat, but they go best with poultry.
