Mashed potatoes

Classic Czech potato side dish.
Ingredients (what you need)
50g butter
ground or whole cumin
salt
250 ml milk
6 pcs potatoes (medium)
Recipe steps
Wash the potatoes, peel them, cut them into quarters, rinse them again, and put them in a pot with water, which we salt and add caraway seeds. Boil until the potatoes fall apart when pierced with a fork, about 30 minutes.
When the potatoes are done, drain them, add butter, and mash them or use a hand mixer. While constantly stirring, add warmed milk. Stir until the mash is smooth and lump-free.
The consistency is up to you; for a thinner mash, use more milk.
