Garlic soup

A very popular soup, excellent for a hangover.
Ingredients (what you need)
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
300 g potatoes
2 slices bread
1 cube chicken bouillon
1.3 l water
1 piece egg
1 tablespoon lard
5 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon crushed caraway seeds
to taste ground pepper
salt
Recipe steps
We take the bread, cut it into cubes, and fry it preferably in lard.
We dice the peeled potatoes, put them in water, and add lard, bouillon, caraway, marjoram, salt, and pepper. We cook, and when the potatoes are soft, we stir an egg into the soup and simmer briefly. Finally, we add garlic to the soup and season to taste.
We eat the soup best with fried bread.
