Sponge cake batter is suitable for cake bases, where we can use 4 eggs, or for a bundt cake, where we use 7 eggs. We add a tablespoon of oil for each egg.

4 pcs eggs
160 g semolina flour
4 tablespoons oil
Recipe steps
We crack the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites.
We whip the egg whites into a meringue, to which we add sugar and continue whipping until it thickens to a dense foam. We then gently fold in the yolks, oil, and finally the flour.
We grease the pan and dust it with flour. We pour our batter into it, especially for bases, we try to pour around the edges to avoid creating a mound in the center.
If we are making chocolate batter, we use cocoa at the expense of flour, which means that if we use 3 tablespoons of cocoa, we use 2 tablespoons less flour. This way, our cake will not be so dense.
