300 g ground meat
1 egg
1 teaspoon marjoram
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon crushed caraway seeds
100 ml milk
2 slices toast bread
salt
pepper
2 hard-boiled eggs
Recipe steps
First, boil 2 eggs hard and preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Cut the toast bread into small cubes. Then place them in a bowl and pour warm milk over them. Let the bread soak well.
Now let’s move on to the meat. Mix in the eggs, finely chopped onion and garlic, marjoram, and cumin. Don’t forget to add salt and pepper.
Combine the milk-soaked bread and seasoned meat to form a compact mixture. Hands are the best tool for this. You can add a bit more salt or pepper if necessary.
Roll out/spread the meat into a sheet and place the hard-boiled eggs in a row. Roll the whole thing up into the shape of a meatloaf. Don’t worry, it sounds more complicated than it really is.
