Quick Beef Goulash

Cut the front beef into cubes. In a pressure cooker (if not using a pressure cooker, expect a longer cooking time for the meat), melt the lard and sauté the finely chopped onion in it, sprinkle with red paprika, and sauté for a minute like this.
Ingredients (what you need)
1 teaspoon marjoram
1/2 teaspoon crushed cumin
4 tablespoons lard
4 teaspoons ground sweet paprika
1 cube bouillon
3 pieces onion
1/2 teaspoon ground hot paprika
4 - 5 cloves garlic
750 g beef brisket
to taste ground black pepper
salt
as needed water
dark roux
Recipe steps
We add the meat and roast it until it's browned all over. As soon as it starts to release its juices, we season it with salt, pepper, and sprinkle some caraway seeds.
After a while, we pour in water and stir. Then we let it stew.
Next to it, we let a bouillon cube dissolve in boiling water. During the half hour of cooking the goulash, we add this water. Then we cook it uncovered. Gradually, as needed, we sprinkle in some roux. About 30 minutes before the end, we add marjoram and crushed garlic. If added earlier, it would partially lose its flavor and aroma.
We serve the goulash with bread dumplings or boiled potatoes. We garnish it with onion sliced into rings.
