In a bowl with lukewarm milk, crumble the yeast and let it work for a while. Then add the flour, add the egg, and add the sour cream. Mix everything together.

1 kg plain flour
1 pc whole egg
1 cube yeast
1 cup sour cream
0.5 l milk

Recipe steps

We let the dough rest in the refrigerator. When we take it out, we form it into flat cakes, which we place in a pan with hot oil or in a deep fryer. We fry until golden brown.

Lángos is served with garlic, ketchup, and grated cheese. However, everyone can choose according to their taste; children love it only with ketchup.

The dough can last in the refrigerator for several days.
