Ingredients (what you need)

500 g of pork (leg)
120 g of onion
200 g of fresh mushrooms
60 g of oil
whole caraway seeds (or crushed)
ground pepper
salt

Recipe steps

Peel the onion and slice it into rings. Clean the mushrooms thoroughly, rinse them, and also slice them into rings. Cut the pork into cubes, similar to how you would for goulash.

Heat oil in a pan, add the meat, and quickly sauté it.

Once the meat is seared, add salt, the chopped onion, and sauté together for a while longer.

Season the meat with caraway seeds and pepper, and add a little water so it doesn't burn in the pan.

Cook covered and add water as needed.

Once the meat is almost tender, add the mushrooms, stir everything together, and simmer for a little longer.

If the sauce seems too thin, you can thicken it with a small amount of plain flour dissolved in water and cook it for a while.

Serve with rice.
