Spaghetti with minced meat

The recipe for spaghetti with minced meat first appeared in the 1970s and was the Czech response to the Italian recipe for Bolognese spaghetti. At that time, the ingredients for the latter were not available in socialist Czechoslovakia; the food situation did not allow for authentic world recipes, so spaghetti was adapted by Czech housewives. This recipe for spaghetti with minced meat is much simpler, quicker, and cheaper than its Bolognese counterpart. Spaghetti with minced meat used to be disgracefully made with ketchup and hard Edam cheese. Please forget about that. This recipe for spaghetti with minced meat uses tomato paste and canned chopped tomatoes. Instead of Edam, it's better to use the more flavorful and more suitable Parmesan for spaghetti. You will create a great and tasty meal from ordinary ingredients that even children will enjoy. The recipe for spaghetti with minced meat is right here.
