Cabbage is divided into four parts. The slices of meat are carefully tenderized through plastic wrap. Sprinkle with a little salt, pepper, and lightly brush the inside...

Ingredients (what you need)

4 thicker slices of pork neck or shoulder
350 g of English bacon cut into 4 thick strips
100 g of English bacon diced
500 g of zucchini or sauerkraut
300 ml of broth
1 large onion chopped finely
4 cloves of garlic sliced
1 tablespoon of oil
1 tablespoon of sweet ground paprika
1 tablespoon of plain flour
ground pepper
salt
Krems mustard to taste

Recipe steps

We divide the cabbage into four parts. We gently pound the slices of meat through plastic wrap. We salt them, add a little pepper, and spread mustard on one side. On each slice of meat, we spread cabbage and add a piece of bacon. We roll them into roulades, secure them with string or toothpicks, and place them at the bottom of the slow cooker.

In heated oil in a saucepan, we sauté the bacon and onion with garlic. Once they gain a golden color, we add paprika, quickly stir, and pour in 200 ml of broth. We then pour this mixture over the roulades and cover the pot with a lid. We set it to High and let it cook for 3.5 hours.

We remove the roulades from the pot and add a thickening agent to the juices, which we made by mixing flour in 100 ml of cold broth. We stir in a bit of mustard, mix, and place the meat back in.

We cover the pot again with the lid and let it cook on high for another thirty minutes. Roulades go well with both potatoes and dumplings.
