Ingredients (what you need)

500 g minced meat
1 pc smaller cabbage
2 pcs eggs
250 ml milk
1 pc onion
4 cloves garlic
salt, ground pepper
breadcrumbs
plain flour
oil

Recipe steps

First, chop the cabbage into small pieces. Then, simmer them for a while in salted water and let them drain.

Meanwhile, sauté the finely chopped onion until golden brown.

Now prepare the meatballs themselves. First, season the ground meat with salt and pepper. Then add the beautifully fried onion, the drained and pre-cooked cabbage, and 1 beaten egg. Next, add crushed garlic to the mixture. If the mixture is too thin (which it will be), gradually add breadcrumbs.

Thoroughly mix all the ingredients well. The best way to do this is by hand. Shape the mixture into meatballs. If you want, you can coat them in a traditional breading.

Fry in hot oil or lard slowly on both sides.
