Roasted pork is one of the most traditional dishes you can find in Czech pubs and dining halls. This dish pairs perfectly with bread or potato dumplings and sauerkraut.

Ingredients (what you need)

300 g pork belly
400 g pork roast
salt
2-3 onions
150 g frozen sautéed mushrooms
sweet paprika
grilling spices
3 cloves of garlic

Recipe steps

Cut the meat into cubes, salt it, and add grilling spices and sweet paprika.

Peel the garlic onion, crush it, and rub it into the meat with your hands. Then let it rest for about 10 minutes.

First, place the onion at the bottom of the baking dish, then add the mushrooms. On top of this prepared layer, place the meat.

Add a little water and cover, then place in an oven preheated to 150 °C, where it will bake for about 90 minutes. Afterwards, take it out, stir, and bake uncovered at a temperature of 180-190 °C until it turns golden brown. The time and temperature are guidelines and should be adjusted based on your experience with the oven.
