Pasta with tomatoes and mozzarella

We cook the pasta according to the instructions. We cut the bacon into small pieces, the onion finely, and the garlic into slices. We fry the bacon, and when it's done, we set it aside.
Ingredients (what you need)
300 g long pasta (spaghetti, tagliatelle)
100 g English bacon
1 onion
3-4 cloves of garlic
canned tomatoes - 425 ml
150 g mozzarella
fresh and dried basil
oregano
1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast
a pinch of sugar and cinnamon
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
salt
pepper
Recipe steps
We cook the pasta according to the instructions. We cut the bacon into small pieces, the onion finely, and the garlic into thin slices. We sauté the bacon and set some aside for later. To the remaining bacon, we add the onion and fry until golden. When the onion is almost done, we add the garlic.
After a while, we add the tomatoes, salt, pepper, and herbs. We simmer for about 8-10 minutes. If someone wants, they can blend everything with an immersion blender. I blended it only partially. Finally, we stir in the yeast, lemon, sugar, and cinnamon. We briefly boil and add the diced mozzarella. We set some aside for garnish.
We add the pasta to the sauce and mix well. We place the pasta on a plate and sprinkle it with the reserved bacon, mozzarella, and fresh basil. We can drizzle it with olive oil as well. I added olives, but that was just for decoration.
