We will need mozzarella marinated in basil, so if we can't get pre-marinated mozzarella, we will take mozzarella in a bag, cut it open, pour out the brine, cut the cheese into pieces, put it back in the bag together with finely chopped basil, seal it, mix it, and let it marinate in the fridge overnight if possible.

1 package mozzarella
1 can dried tomatoes
1 package prosciutto
to taste extra virgin olive oil
as needed fresh basil

Recipe steps

We cut the dried tomatoes into pieces. We take slices of prosciutto and wrap each piece of tomato and a piece of mozzarella in one. We then secure the rolls with a toothpick to hold them together.

We serve the rolls as an appetizer with fresh bread, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil for flavor.
