Ingredients (what you need)

lasagna as needed
800 g frozen spinach
1 small onion
4 cloves of garlic
50 g butter
3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
400 ml milk
300 g hard cheese
salt
pepper
fat for greasing the baking dish

Recipe steps

Peel the onion and chop it into small pieces. Peel the garlic and crush it. Grate the hard cheese finely.

In oil, sauté the onion until translucent, then add the defrosted spinach and the crushed garlic. Season with salt and pepper and briefly simmer.

First, we make the béchamel: melt the butter, add the flour and sauté it until golden. Then pour in the milk, mix thoroughly, and cook a thin mixture.

Into the béchamel, stir in roughly a third of the grated cheese and let it melt while continuously stirring. Season with salt and add ground pepper. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Grease a baking dish and start layering the lasagna. First, add a thin layer of béchamel, then lasagna (briefly pre-cooked according to the type), spinach, béchamel, and sprinkle with grated cheese. Follow with another layer of lasagna, spinach, béchamel, and grated cheese, then again lasagna. Finally, add the last layer of béchamel, which we sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese.

Cover the baking dish with a lid or foil and put it in the oven.

After thirty minutes, remove the lid and continue baking until the surface is slightly golden, about 10 minutes.
