Mushroom sauce with sour cream

We peel the onion and finely chop it. The peeled mushrooms are sliced.
Ingredients (what you need)
500 g mushrooms
1 pcs larger onion
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1 cup sour cream (200 g)
salt
1 tablespoon crushed caraway seeds
milk
3 tablespoons oil
1 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice
dough 200 ml milk
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Recipe steps
In a pot with heated oil, add the onion and sauté until golden. Then add the mushrooms, sprinkle with caraway seeds, drizzle with lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Stir and let it simmer covered for about 20 minutes. If needed, add milk to prevent the mushrooms from burning.
After 20 minutes, add sour cream, which should be thoroughly mixed into the sauce, and bring it back to a boil. Meanwhile, mix flour with milk and then pour it into the sauce. Continue for about another 10 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
The sauce is best served with dishes accompanied by bread dumplings.
