Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Depending on the season, we will use either the freshest possible mushrooms, or dried mushrooms, or pickled champignons.

Ingredients (what you need)

150 g mushrooms (fresh)
1 pc onion
2 - 3 tsp butter
100 g bacon
250 ml cream
2 pcs cream cheese
to taste ground black pepper
basil
salt

Recipe steps

Cut the bacon into cubes. Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion. Then add the bacon and fry them together. Next, add the mushrooms, fry for a while, and then pour in the cream and add the processed cheese. When the cheese melts, season with salt, pepper, caraway seeds, and basil.

The sauce is excellent with pasta, but also with other side dishes.
