Excellent cream sauce

Recipe for a delicious and easy creamy sauce.

Ingredients (what you need)

4-5 balls whole allspice
1 pc onion
2-3 leaves bay leaf
1 pc carrot
1 handful thyme
450 g meat
1 pc lemon
0.5 pc celery
1 cup sweet cream
1 tablespoon sugar
1 pc parsley
to taste salt
as needed water
light roux

Recipe steps

We clean and chop the vegetables finely and sauté them in a pot with butter. We add a spoonful of sugar, sprinkle with thyme, and season with salt.

Before the vegetables start to brown, we add 2-3 bay leaves and 4-5 allspice berries.

We stir and place 2 slices of meat (beef, pork, or poultry) on the mixture. We add water and simmer until tender.

We add a little more water and let it boil.

We let the sauce cool down, remove the meat, bay leaves, and allspice, and blend the sauce.

We bring it back to a boil and add sweet cream, lemon, a roux, and season to taste.

We add the meat back in and warm it up.

We serve with bread or Karlovy Vary dumplings.
