Grandma's Potato Dumplings

Classic Czech side dish to saucy dishes.
Ingredients (what you need)
70 dkg potatoes
1 pc egg
20 dkg coarse flour
1 pinch salt
Recipe steps
In their skins, we cook the potatoes, which we then let cool. Once cooled, we peel them and grate them on a coarse grater. We then mix them with flour, eggs, and salt. Everything is then properly kneaded.
When we have kneaded, we roll out our dumplings on a floured board. This amount should yield 3 pieces.
In a pot, we then bring salted water to a boil, into which we place the dumplings once it starts boiling. We cook them for about 12-15 minutes. It is necessary to separate them occasionally in the middle of the cooking, as they tend to stick together.
After removing them from the water, we prick them so that the dumplings do not collapse. They are best sliced with thread.
