Ingredients (what you need)
18 dkg gluten-free Nutrifree mix for pie crust
5 dkg powdered sugar
10 dkg butter (dairy-free or lactose-free fat)
3 egg yolks (or 1 vanilla pudding)
lemon zest
1/2 packet of vanilla sugar
Filling
5 larger apples
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
sweetener (to taste)
Recipe steps
We thoroughly process all the ingredients into a fine mixture using a rolling pin or a food processor. We use solid fat. Set aside a small portion of the dough. Roll out the larger portion into a round shape or spread it by hand into a round mold, or use a pizza roller. The diameter of the mold is 29 cm. On the dough in the mold, we place grated apples, which we sweeten and sprinkle with cinnamon as needed.
We roll out the smaller portion of the dough into a thin sheet and use cookie cutters to create various shapes, such as flowers, leaves, or hearts, which we then place on the apples. We shape the remaining dough into a noodle, which we place around the edges of the pie as a decorative border. We bake the pie in the oven at 180 °C for approximately 35 minutes, with both top and bottom heat.
