200 g grated Edam cheese
0.5-1 cup of milk (as needed)
salt
ground pepper
For coating
egg
breadcrumbs
For frying
oil

Recipe steps

The day before, we mix the meat with cold milk, which we add gradually in the necessary amount. Then we cover everything and store it in a bowl in the fridge overnight.

The next day, we stir in the grated cheese, season with salt and pepper. With damp hands, we shape the cutlets.

First, we dip the cutlets in beaten egg, and then we coat them in breadcrumbs. We repeat this coating process once more.

We fry the cutlets on both sides in hot oil.

We serve with mashed potatoes.
