Ingredients (what you need)

Dough
160 g butter
150 g sugar
2 eggs
500 g all-purpose flour
1 baking powder
330 ml milk
Filling
500 g soft cottage cheese
2 eggs
2 vanilla sugars
red currants
For the crumble
80 g granulated sugar
80 g butter
150-160 g all-purpose flour
For greasing and dusting the baking tray

Recipe steps

Grease the baking tray and sprinkle it with coarse flour, or simply line it with baking paper.

When we mix sugar, butter, and flour, we create a crumb.

Bring the butter to a soft state and then mix it with the eggs and sugar. Next, add the flour mixed with baking powder and milk, and mix everything thoroughly to obtain a batter.

Spread the batter onto the prepared tray.

Mix the cottage cheese with the eggs and vanilla sugar. Then spread the mixture over the batter.

Evenly distribute the washed currant berries over the cottage cheese and sprinkle them with the crumb.

Bake at 180 °C for about 30 minutes, until the cake turns golden brown.
