250 g soft cottage cheese
250 g butter
250 g sugar
250 g semi-coarse flour
1 baking powder
4 eggs
raisins
fat for greasing the pan
coarse flour for dusting
Recipe steps
Preheat the oven to 165 °C. Grease the pan with butter and dust it with flour.
Separate the yolks from the whites. Whisk the whites until stiff peaks form. Mix the flour with the baking powder.
Combine the cottage cheese with the yolks, sugar, and softened butter until a smooth mixture is formed. Then gently fold in the flour mixture and finally carefully add the beaten egg whites. You can also add raisins. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes. This time is informative. To check if the cake is baked, insert a toothpick; it should come out dry.
