Chocolate Chip Cookies

In a larger bowl, cream the softened butter with the sugar, then add the eggs and whisk again. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually sift the flour...
Ingredients (what you need)
about 125 g of softened butter
6 tablespoons of sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 egg
1.5 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
100 g of chocolate (chips, I buy them at Kaufland)
Recipe steps
In a deeper bowl, thoroughly mix the melted butter with the sugar, then add the egg and whisk again.
In a second bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the flour to the butter mixture and gently incorporate it. Try not to overmix the dough at this stage.
Hand-fold the chocolate chips into the mixture.
Place the dough in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least half an hour.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 175°C.
Remove the dough from the refrigerator and form medium-sized balls. Place each ball on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Put the cookies in the oven and bake for about 12 minutes. I recommend watching them; when they start to turn golden around the edges and the top firms up, it's time to take them out.
After baking, let the cookies rest on the tray for 5 minutes and then transfer them to a rack to cool completely.
