Ingredients (what you need)

1 cup (300 ml) all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder (heaping)
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
5 tablespoons sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons honey
2/3 cup milk
2/3 cup oil
Filling
2 cups whipped cream
2 teaspoons instant coffee
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
100 ml water
gelatin stabilizer (for cold use)
For decoration
50 g chocolate (shredded into flakes)
Recipe steps
In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and mix them thoroughly. Then add the wet ingredients and whisk everything well with a whisk. Line a 22 cm diameter cake pan with baking paper, pour the batter into it, and smooth the surface. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35 to 45 minutes.
After baking, let it rest for 5 minutes, then turn it onto a wire rack and let it cool completely.
In a bowl, pour in the whipped cream, add coffee and sugar, and whip everything until a stiff consistency is formed.
In a deeper bowl, mix the water and gelatin stabilizer by hand.
Stir the whipped cream into the stabilizer and mix gently.
Cut the cooled cake, spread 2/3 of the cream on it, and place the second half of the cake on top. Cover the entire cake with the remaining cream and sprinkle it with shavings.
Leave it in the cold for an hour.
