Ingredients (what you need)
2 medium zucchinis
150 g hard cheese
1 fresh bell pepper
150 g smoked meat
spring onions
1 sour cream
4 eggs
vegetable seasoning
salt
ground pepper
garlic
plain flour as needed
1 baking powder
100 g English bacon
a little lard
Recipe steps
Chop the zucchini into coarse pieces and squeeze out the excess water.
Cut the cheese into coarse pieces. Finely chop the bell pepper along with the smoked meat and green onions. Cut the bacon into small pieces.
Mix the zucchini, cheese, bell pepper, smoked meat, and green onions.
Mix the cream with the egg yolks and vegetable seasoning. Add to the mixture, season with salt and pepper, and optionally add pressed garlic.
Thicken with smooth flour mixed with baking powder. Finally, gently fold in the beaten egg whites.
Grease the baking dish with lard. Evenly spread the prepared mixture on it and sprinkle with bacon on top.
Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake for about 30 minutes.
Once the filling is golden brown on the surface, brush it with lard to achieve a nice color.
