Ingredients (what you need)
Dough
4 pieces of potatoes
1 piece of egg
1 tablespoon of buckwheat (or other gluten-free) flour - or more
2 tablespoons of cornmeal - for crispier pancakes
1 tablespoon of marjoram
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of caraway seeds
1 pinch of pepper
2 tablespoons of milk for thinning - add according to the thickness of the dough
4 cloves of garlic
8 tablespoons of oil (lard) for frying
Salad
500 g homemade pickled cabbage
1 piece of onion
1 teaspoon of powdered sugar
Recipe steps
Grate half of the peeled potatoes coarsely, and the other half finely. Add the remaining ingredients and work the dough.
In a large non-stick skillet, fry four large potato pancakes until golden brown in lard.
Salad: While frying, finely chop the onion, cut the cabbage, add sugar, and mix everything well. A quick and inexpensive vitamin treat.
