1 kg mascarpone
2 packages of ladyfingers
1 cup of strong coffee (or espresso)
powdered sugar (to taste)
amaretto (to taste)
bitter cocoa for dusting
Recipe steps
We mix mascarpone, sugar, and a small amount of amaretto to create a cream. We only add a little amaretto so that the cream doesn't become too runny.
We quickly dip the ladyfingers in coffee and then evenly arrange them in the cake pan.
Once the bottom is full of ladyfingers, we spread a layer of cream about 1 to 2 centimeters thick and then add another layer of ladyfingers, filling the pan. Finally, we add the last layer of cream.
If the pan is filled (with 3 to 4 layers), sprinkle bitter cocoa on the last layer of cream and let it sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
