Ingredients (what you need)
200 g pork shoulder
1 tablespoon lard (or oil)
1 onion
1-2 cloves of garlic
salt (to taste)
freshly ground pepper
1 Hungarian sausage (spicy)
1 red bell pepper
1 white pepper
5 cm leek
2 leaves of white cabbage
1 tablespoon tomato paste from a tube
1 tablespoon paprika spread
hot water for braising
1 small teaspoon of Solamyl as needed
Recipe steps
Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces or thin strips. Cut the onion in half, peel it, and slice it into wedges. Add fat to a heated deep pan and sauté the onion.
Add the meat, season with salt and pepper, and then sauté until tender. Next, add the sausage cut into slices.
First, wash and slice the peppers into strips, shred the cabbage into thin strips, slice the leek into rounds, and chop the garlic. Once the meat is almost tender, add the vegetables and both pastes, pour in hot water, and simmer for 3 minutes.
If necessary, thicken using a teaspoon of Solamyl mixed with a tablespoon of cold water. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat. Serve with rice, pasta, or bread.
