Dough
1.6 kg potatoes
2 eggs
450 g coarse flour
150 g coarse semolina
salt
For filling
1 kg plums (as needed)
For serving

Recipe steps
We cook the potatoes in their skins, then peel them and let them cool.
Grate or finely grind the cold potatoes. Then add the coarse flour, semolina, a pinch of salt, and the egg, and create a thick dough from this mixture.
From the dough, we form a roll and cut it into pieces. From the individual pieces, we make flat cakes and wrap the plums in them.
The dumplings are cooked in lightly salted water for 6 to 8 minutes. On the plate, we sprinkle them with ground poppy seeds, sugar, and pour melted butter over them.
