Mushroom dill sauce with sour cream

In melted butter, sauté finely chopped onion quickly until it softens, then add cleaned forest mushrooms cut into slices or cubes.
Ingredients (what you need)
1 larger onion
200 g fresh forest mushrooms
200 g room temperature sour cream
1 tablespoon freshly chopped dill (dried can be used as well)
a fuller tablespoon of butter
broth as needed
Recipe steps
In melted butter, sauté finely chopped onion until golden, then add cleaned wild mushrooms sliced or diced and slowly fry them on the onion until slightly softened. Next, add a small amount of broth, season with salt, and simmer covered for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally and adding liquid as needed. Use minimal liquid to avoid needing to thicken the sauce.
At the end of the simmering, add chopped dill to the mushrooms. Then remove the mushrooms from the heat. Whisk the room temperature cream thoroughly with a pinch of salt and combine it with the mushroom mixture. If necessary, add a bit of broth to thin it out, and it can be served.
Serve with boiled potatoes and optionally with a hard-boiled egg. Garnish the plate with a sprig of dill.
