Moms' vanilla crescents

Overnight we will let the fat soften. Then we will mix it with the other ingredients and knead it into a firmer dough. The finished dough will be placed in the fridge to rest.
Ingredients (what you need)
vanilla sugar
for coating powdered sugar
dough 100 g Hera
150 g plain flour
1 pc egg yolk
50 g ground hazelnuts
20 g sugar
Recipe steps
From the dough, we tear off equal pieces, which we shape into crescent rolls. We place them on a greased baking sheet and then put it in the oven at 150°C for 10-15 minutes.
We mix vanilla sugar with powdered sugar and coat the still warm crescent rolls in it.
To ensure the crescent rolls soften, we make them about 3 weeks before the holidays.
